In conjunction with Visit Malaysia’s Holiday Destinations Year, I am going to tell you about our beautiful holiday resorts.
Malaysia has many beautiful holiday resorts for both local and foreign visitors. Pulau Pangkor for instance, is an island located on the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia. This island is sheltered from the strong monsoon winds. This means that visitors can enjoy the pleasures of the sea and beach throughout the year. Visitors can also enjoy the natural scenery of green hills, tropical beaches and crystal clear water. The island is only forty-minute ride from Lumut on the mainland.
Pulau Langkawi is another island that one should visit. It is located off the state of Kedah. Getting to the island is easy too because there are direct flights to the island. Visitors to the island can purchase a wide range of Malaysian handicrafts such as delicate hand-drawn batik and intricately carved silverware. All these are found in a magnificent complex known as the Craft Cultural Complex.
Genting Highlands, located in Pahang, is about 50 minutes from Kuala Lumpur. Both foreigners and locals enjoy visits to this highland resort. Many hotels have been established there to house visitors who wish to stay the night. Indoor and outdoor theme parks with the latest exciting rides are a treat for both children and adults. Cultural shows as well as concerts by famous artistes are also held in the hotels.
These are only some of the wonderful holiday destinations in Malaysia. Visitors to Malaysia can only have wonderful memories of their visit here.
