She's officially eighteen :)
This year, I didn't plan any surprise for her. Eventhough I know she loves surprises, this year I wanted to do something different. So, three weeks ago I brought her to Alamanda without telling her anything. She thought that we went there just to have dinner. But actually, I wanted to buy something special for her. I wanted to buy something that she adored. Something that she won't regret :)
After dinner, we walked around the complex. Went in and out almost every shop in the complex. When we passed by a silver jewelery shop, I noticed that she was interested. So, I took her to the shop. I told her, "Choose anything you want, I'll pay for it." She looked shocked. Before she would ask anything, I said ,"Its for your birthday ." She smiled. First, she was looking for a bracelet. I wasn't worried about the price. Cause I knew that she won't ask anything that is very expensive. As I told you in previous posts, she understands me and my situation very well.
Then, she went to the ring section. Its true what the olden people say ," To bring a woman for shopping, you need a lot of patience". Even after half an hour, she still haven't found anything that catches her eye. After a while, she asked the saleswoman to take out a silver with black coating ring. It was nice. She's very good at choosing things :)
But then. when I looked at the price. It was quite lower than my budget. So, I asked her to pick a ring from the *silver with white gold coating* section. She was unsure about that. But when I told her that I wanted to buy her something that she could wear forever, she said okay. She looked around, and took 3 rings out. She asked my opinion. They looked almost alike to me, but then there was this one ring that caught my eyes. Its a very simple, but very pretty one. When I told her that, she told me that she was thinking of that too. Coincidence? Nope.. Its a sense that we both share :P
And the day before yesterday, my mom asked me to bring my sweetheart out for dinner. It was an unexpected thing , as my mom always advices me to not go out with Rizwana often. But maybe because of her birthday, my mom gave green light :P
So, she came to my house. Before going to Sate Kajang(My mom chose the place), I asked my mom to put the ring on Rizwana's finger. It fitted well, and it was perfect on her. She promised me that she won't take it out from her finger. :)
And so, we went to Sate Kajang and had dinner. After that, we went for a walk near the playground, AGAIN. But this time, its the three of us. :P
Around 11, we went back home. Rizwana went to her hostel after sending us back. Only around 12, she reached there. At sharp twelve, I called her and shouted "HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAYANG !!" She was very happy as I was the first one to wish her :)
I didn't get the chance to be the first to wish her last year :(
I hoped that I made her day memorable. I know it's not perfect, but something that she could remember forever.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY RIZWANA SWEETHEART !
May Allah Bless You Always, And May We Live Happily Ever After :)
